So why this question has been raised and what is the significance of using right Pen in the Examination Hall. Can it determine your marks?

Lets talk about this topic clearly so that doubt of Aspirants can be dissipated completely and they can share the same things to other fellow Aspirants.

Imagine a situation, when 2 aspirants namely Dilip and Debashish appeared the Odisha civil Service Mains Examination. Dilip has done his preparation very well compared to Debashish, whereas Debashish could not. But in the examination hall, during 3 hours of writing mains paper, the fancy Pen which Dilip used became showing dryness in ink and he panicked. He wasted around 15 minutes to completely changing his pen after repeated trying to write smoothly. And he has scored less in that paper and ultimately could not clear. Whereas Debashish used a particular pen which he used to write during preparation phase. He completed the whole paper and able to score well. So this is the importance of Pen during the examination. It holds significance while fetching good marks as good flow of pen saves time by helping writing for long hours and create good writing impression in the Examiner’s mind.
